The families of our students are as diverse as the students themselves, bringing a richness to our community and are an important part of supporting the success of our students.

Child Care Grant Program

More than 10 years ago, Cornell offered its first childcare grant program for student-parents. The Cornell Student Child Care Grant Program, administered by the Dean of Students Office with assistance from the Students with Families Advisory Committee, serves to provide financial assistance to Cornell students with children and contributes $350,000 annually to defray the costs of childcare.

Applications are accepted three times per year for spring, summer and fall.  The program subsidizes some of the eligible costs associated with childcare, including infant and toddler child care, preschool/pre-k day care, before/after school care and support for children up to high school graduation.

Please visit the Child Care Grant Program page for more in-depth information, including eligibility, applications and points of contact.
