Family & Friends

Our Cornell military family extends beyond our student veterans, reservists and active duty service members; we are pleased to include and welcome our military dependents and military spouses.  Often parents or other family members have questions regarding their students’ education and how their VA educational benefit may be best utilized.  The Undergraduate Student Veteran Program Director (USVPD) is glad to answer questions, offer services, refer to resources and provide support for a myriad of topics or concerns.

Join us during the Fall Orientation Week as we host an Orientation and Welcome Aboard event for all incoming military students and families.  Enjoy meeting member of the Veterans Support Team and other students and families that are military-connected; it is a great way to relax from the hectic nature of the day.

Military members, military spouses and dependents are invited to join the USVPD for coffee, tea, water, snacks, etc., in our Veteran’s Lounge located in 221 Computing & Communications Center.  Stop by, decompress, chat, create connections & find new friends; whatever the reason, we would be pleased to see you there.  Make sure to visit on Mondays for Mary’s Monday Munchies and nosh on donuts, bagels, and muffins!
